Sounds like your friend's case is already in court. If she has a reasonably good lawyer, then all legal venues are probably already in process. HK family law does not have a lot of teeth. If the court will not enforce payment, then there is not much you can do.
If you are thinking along the lines of extra-legal methods. I think you only workable choices is try going to the press and shame them. Do not try anything that would not be protected by law. Your friend is up against a shameless local tycoon, that means if things get nasty she is unlikely to win. At least in court she can get a "moral" victory. In the back alley, really bad things can happen.
