wooden blinds i normally dnt recommend. Venetian blinds are good in HK, and dont have to maintain it too much, but ofcourse depends which brand, and supplier you go to. Most of my clients tend to stick to Luxaflex. It is more expensive but at same time, it is durable then other. Another option would be the metallic coated ones you see in many office spaces, some are for residentials. Make sure you ask for price and installation if its inclusive. Some may differ.
