Would appreciate some tips on living in Taipei with two kids aged 4 and 2. We are likely to move at hte end of July.

I lived there for nearly 2 years - and that was about 15 years ago, so it's probably, and hopefully, much different now. I'd advise that you live as far north as possible, near or in yangmingshan. The air is much cleaner in that direction and the traffic won't kill you.
