i cant seem to find any for my 2yr olds - I bought some before in mothercare but now they only have short sleeved ones. I am after some cotton trousers and long sleeved top sort of thing. No buttons or anything - very simple - alas, no luck! thank you for any tips!

Try Caroline Centre/Lee Gardens Two in CWB. There is a whole floor of children's clothing stores. Or the top floor of Prince's Building. I would recommend French brands like Jacadi. Expensive but excellent quality and cotton. And at 2 years it's not like he/she will grow out of the pajamas in a few months.

Otherwise there's Stanley Market.

have you tried Wing On? they are good with the basic stuff if you are not too fussed with nice/cute or modern designs.

i was in mong kok a couple of months ago and came across a market which is i think called fa yuen street market. They have the kind of pyjamas that you are looking for, not wildly cute, but the cotton is good and the prices ofcourse are very low. u do need to be prepared for how very rude the stall holders can be.
