Hi,
This kind of clarifies my other posts, but simply, I'm a British male, my wife is Chinese born and bred (Beijing) (we married in UK in 07), I'm employed here (Bjing) already but looking to work on a sort of consulting/freelance role - just myself in partnership with her.
Can we get me some sort of Dependant Visa that will allow me to work legally?

The only dependant visa for being married to a Chinese national is a prolonged tourist visa. It does not allow for employment.
