I am having a big problem on the walls and ceiling of my bedroom. for the past one month i see really really small insects crawling, they are in clusters and from a distance the clusters look like a fungus mould, but if you go near you can see them moving. I have no clue what this is, i vacummed my walls and ceiling to remove them but they are back. is this due to humidity?
I really need help, please reply

Wellcome to Hong Kong. We lived in houses with this problem, a strong concoction bleach and water helps to get rid of it for a while and keep a dehumidifier running

What you have might be ants or roaches. At the supermarket, get the "Combat" brand bait (roach or ant variety as appropriate, both if you're not sure). Attach the bait boxes to the wall close to the infestation. Make sure kids can't reach them. You will get MORE roaches/ants for a few days as the bait takes effect, but after that you will see a significant reduction or elimination. You may need to repeat this a few months later. We have found the bait works far better than simple bug spray which dissipates after a day at best.
As for the heat humidity, bugs and mold love it.
1. Get at least one dehumidifier and run it at all times. If you have a large apartment or several floors get more than one.
2. Get the dehumidifier tubs from the supermarket and put them in your closets and clothes drawers. Change every few months in summer.
3. As SweetSue mentions, bleach will kill most anything.
Lizards and spiders are great at controlling insects. So be nice to them.

Thanx for your responses, i will use the bleach solution, and am getting a good dehumidifier, i am just wondering if i should get professional help to check it out or will these solutions be enough. I am sure these arent roaches or ants, they are much smaller things.....
its pretty creepy to realize you have insects crawling on your walls.
Am i right in assuming this is due to the humidity?

The baits will work on some other insects as well. I would start with trying to solve it on your own. You could have the problem licked in a week. Otherwise get a pro to look at it.
I wanted to add that if you have clothing or bedding that you don't use very often, you should wash it and put it in large plastic bags together with some moisture absorbing packets. You can find the packets at the supermarket. Also clean out your closets periodically with bleach solution. Bugs like darkness.

I'm afraid you'll have to get used to at least some of this. The problem cannot be eliminated completely in this climate. But it is easily manageable.

Humidity and heat yes. Very good environment for mold and plants, and consequently creepy crawly things. If it weren't for all the houses HK would be a rainforest.

My first flat was an old place and had all types of insects marching through. I bought an insectacide that you just pushed a button on the top and then go to work for the day. It seems to fill the house with the insectacide and any little creature hiding in the corners got a lung full. I had a small fan going for day so as to ensure that this gas went everywhere.
Depending on your house shape/layout, you might want one or two, one each for bedrooms etc. I lifted all the mats and opened wardrobes etc. It really seemed to control them well.
I don't think I suffered any side affects. Watch out for your pets, fish etc, they won't be happy with it.
