I live near Aberdeen Marina Club but can't find any food delivery places to come to mine. And those that do charge extortionate prices.
There must be somewhere near Aberdeen that delivers? Help, I just moved here and need some advice for those lazy days...
Thanks!

Sorry don't know of any places that do delivery per say. If you live near the Marina club and you don't mind Chinese food, there is a wet market right around the corner from the club with loads of Chinese restaurants on the top floor, they do awesome food and they would probably deliver they speak English up there, but its not great, there are also a couple of not so high class restaurants right across from the club that would probably do it, to and right by the bus stand at the top of the hill there are a couple of Chinese places as well (most no frills Chinese places will deliver but you may have a language problem). If you want western food, you should take a trip up to Aberdeen itself, by the big housing complex up there, I am sure there is a pizza hut or something similar I know there is a McDonalds obviously they dont deliver, but I am sure there are some western style food delivery places up there, and finally the other thing you could try is heading up to south horizons, and getting the menus from the food court at the top of the shopping center and finding out whether they would deliver, that is Asian food as well, I cant remember if there is a pizza hut in South Horizons itself, but you can definitely get pizza delivered there, so I would be very surprised if you couldn't get it delivered to where you are as well. Sorry I cant be more specific, but I am sure you can get delivery in Aberdeen, you just need to have a look around first and ask at the various restaurants/food outlets.

Oh, and McDonald's (including the store in Aberdeen) actually does deliver...

Thanks very mcuh for the reply. Is the wet food market you mention -- a cooked food market rather than the fresh seafood one also nearby? Checked the Nam Long Shan cooked food market yesterday and it seemed to have delicious Thai/ seafood. Also open to 1am.
Thanks again

To be honest, I don't actually know whether it is a wet market or a cooked food market, I have never been in to the actual market itself, only ever visited it at night and gone straight to the top floor, where there are loads of seafood restaurants so I assumed it was a wet market. If you are at the marina club, you go to the top of the hill and its on the left, right across from the bus station, that is the one I am on about. Great grub and cheap beer, not a lot more you can ask for.
