Can anyone recommend a provider for contents insurance for a Village House in Sai Kung area? Individual item cover limits seem pretty low on the policies I've seen (HSBC and the other one whose name I've forgotten).

Dive bum, I know it is not easy to get the insurance for a village house. As a broker I deal with the international insurance companies. Is there any specific item(s) you want covered, that you are looking at the individual item limits.

Regards,

Andrew

Nothing out of the ordinary but a few things are worth more than the 20K limit HSBC use for valuables. Certainly nothing that requires Lloyds' to get involved and if I needed to get special top-up cover I'd probably just self insure, instead. I certainly hope to be able to get some sort of contents cover for a Village House so am a bit concerned that this may not be so easy. Thanks for the feedback.

Anyone out there with a Village House? Or do you all rely on the dogs and the maid?
