Hello. I am new to this community. So I am looking for some advice before going to make a deal with anyone here. I see an ad at this web page: http://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/classifieds/new-items-for-sale/ . It is titled "*SPECIAL PRICE FOR LG & SAMSUNG LCD, PLASMA TV, 100% OFFICIAL GOODS!" I got a reply from Ms. Ng that she would call me and discuss in details about one of the TV's.
Can someone give me some advices before I go further into making a deal at this moment? Helpful advice is always welcome.

Just make sure you understand that those goods are not 'boxed brand new' but used for 'exhibition brand new'. You should take into account the fact that they were working for unknown hours and also another thing is how many 'dead pixels' will there be, the warranty usually cover only if there are more than a certain number of dead pixels and also in specific areas of the screen. I think best thing to do is to see the difference if you buy a brand new one and these ones and see if the difference is substantial.
Make a rough calculation as to how many hours does a plasma or LCD screen live and how many hours it's been sitting in the show rooms.
It would be great if you'll tell what you decided cause I am also thinking about it.

Probably stating the obvious but make sure to plug it in and make sure its fully functional... (we have had some unhappy people cart away items without trying them only to get home to find a problem)
