Heat protection spray?

Can anyone recommend a good spray to use prior to straightening hair? I have fine hair and at the moment it's quite brittle. I only straighten my hair every third day or so. Also a good shampoo/cond for flaky scalp. Thanks.

Connee, GHD do a heat protective spray and they suggest to use it on dry hair but i find for fine hair its best to put it on wet then dry it into your hair before straightening. This will prevent it from getting too heavy and greasy.

You may also want to consider using a leave in hair reconstructor calle One Shot Plus by Fudge. It is one of the best after care products for fine, colored or bleached hair I have come across hence the fact I sell a tone of it in the salon.

Shampoo and conditioner is so subjective and individual its hard to find the right one. For your hair (without seeing it or doing a proper analysis) you would consider to use something to help create more body but as its brittle (i assume from chemical treatments) you would need moisture to. So here's the thing, you cant really have the body and the moisture as they work in against each other. The One Shot would definately help (its light and water based) but you may want to consider a body building shampoo and a more moisturising conditioner. Only use the conditioner on the mid length and ends, do not put on the roots. The other thing to try would be to have an intesive hydrating treatment with a light mix of protien to help moisture and strengthen your hair. Brands vary so much so its alot of trial and error to find one that works best for you.

Ok where to get it. The Hairddresser (where i work) carry Fudge and sometimes we have the GHD spray but as I am not in the salon at this time I cant check. THe Professional Hair Shop on Wellington aslo sells Fudge and Paul Gerrard will have the GHD products to.

Hope that helps.
