for his wind have u tried infacol and gripewater...my little one also got a lot of wind when she was around 3 weeks old and infacol helped her a lot. I would also give her gripewater if she was too colicky and i saw instant relief, she would in few mins pass a lot of wind and feel better.

also try to feed him before the three hours, maybevery 2.5hours, so he's not too hungry and doesnt gulp milk, maybe a slow flow nipple might help as well.

hi,
on another point, i would just like to say that this is what happened with our son when he was born. at around 5-6 weeks he would start crying when he saw a bottle, which then developed into full blown crying and screaming. feeding him was hard and 4 ozs would take easily over an hour and the onl success we had was dreamfeeding him, but even then it was hard as he would wake up quite a lot as a result.
took him to two doctors who both said it was wind and dismissed us. but it didn't ge better despite changing bottles, using infacol, changing teats and even the milk.
finally took him to a third doctor who diagnosed suspected silent reflux and our son to some medication to treat it which changed him almost overnight.
so please, if you still suspect something is wrong, take your baby for another opinion. silent reflux is overlooked by many doctors but is extremely painful for the baby which would explain the crying.
incidentally, haven't been onthis threat for ages because for some reason my new apple pc isn't compatible with the website - every time i reply, the website rejects it!
