where've they got good value buffets? lunch, dinner, afternoon tea or dessert? I've heard there are great ones in Hong Kong but haven't the foggiest where?

Friday lunchtime curry buffet at the Conrad (by Pacific Place). Can't remember the price (not cheap) but do remember the taste. Very nice.

Hi...its not just fri..it from mon to fri..it think its ard 200 bucks. Yes it a big spread and very nice.

Penny - I went to the Novotel Hong Kong - 348 Nathan Road in Kowloon (Jordan MTR station) for dinner this week. To me - it was a great buffet - for 288HKD. Great salads, various seafoods, sushi & sashimi, several cook to order stations, and a dessert bar. I'll go back....
