Hi, has anyone taken the Trinity College certified TEFL course offered at English for Asia language centre in Sheung Wan. I was thinking about doing this course but am unsure how well the certification is received when actually trying to get a job in HK.
Has anyone got any other suggestions of a well recognised course in HK that will be enable me to find work easily.

British Council has prob. the best reputation in HK...for their celtyl at least

Thanks. Yes, I know British Council is the first choice but their website says that they require you to have a university degree to enrol and unfortunatly I do not have one.

Yes, I did the Trinity here in HK. I finished it and then began rejecting jobs until I got one that ticked all my boxes. The British Council CertYL is great for Young Learners. The Trinity has a component of Young Learners in it but E4A also provides a data base of resources if you want to specialise further. The Trinity here is also backed up with Drama training if you want it. You are welcome to send me a Private Message if you have specific questions.
