My dad is in total denial that he is an alcoholic and has been going through a rough time for a few years. As he refuses to get help, I would like to see what is my legal right to see that I have the authority to send him to rehab for example. He no longer feeds himself well and is very forgetful of things. I unfortun. do not live there as I work overseas. But I was told if he no longer can take care of himself and it is legally proved then the family member has the right of authority.
I know maybe in the States for example I may be able to do this but I do not know the legal system in Hong Kong. We are permament resisdence etc.
Any advice would be helpful in terms as my right and also my fathers right as much as I do not want to take matters on my own hands, I need to do smthg for the last straw.
Thanks
