Can someone please tell me I am wrong.... I was looking up information on the Olympic Live Sites in Hong Kong. It seems there are two. One in Victoria Park and one in Sha Tin park. It seems you can only go to watch the opening ceremony if you have a special invite!

We were in Darling Harbour for the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics and had a great time. I was looking forward to the Beijing opening ceremony. Am I reading the website wrong or does anyone know of anywhere else big screens will be set up to go and watch the events?

Sounds about right, from what I read online. Sad really if true: where to watch the opening ceremony??


Very keen to see if anyone has any answers to this, surely there must be somewhere in HK that we can watch this amongst others...

What a shame that the few members of the Iraqi Olympic team have been banned from the Beijing games, it is truly sad to hear this news can anything still be done to get them in?
