Does anyone know where to buy vegetarian cakes with lotus paste and red beans now? I know the mid Autumn festival is not till later but since the non vegetarians ones are already on sale; I was wondering where I can find vegetarian ones for friends in the US.

Any help is much appreciated.

You may want to enquire in traditionnal Chinese vegetarian / bouddhist restaurant, such as the one in Peking Tower n°1, in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon (5-10 min walk from the star ferry). I'll let you know if i happen to go there.
