Your best bet is to call up PCCW, and get a dial up connection if you are not going to be here for very long, its not very fast, but if your grandparents don't want to get a broadband connection in because they dont use the internet, then I dont see any alternative because for broadband you have to make a minimum commitment at least with netvigator you do.

Actually if you look on the same page there is a pay as you go wireless plan or 30 day pass so you can get better speeds, take a look at their packages, dont know if that wireless will extend to your house or you need to be in a hot spot, but there are plans that dont require commitment so check the site

Check into the 3G coverage - I think that you can get unlimited downloads from Smartone for around HKD350/month.
