Allamanda Phuket

Has anyone stayed in allamanda phuket.....they seem to have pretty good kids suit where one room has a bunk bed for kids plus a lot of toys, games etc...but am not sure about their service and other facilites...


would appreciate any feedback...

If I am not mistaken, the Allemanda is part of the Laguna resorts (along with Sheraton, Dusit and one rather expensive one). It is also the one that is furthest from the beach and you need to take a water shuttle to get there - hence it is the cheapest of the resorts in that area. To be honest I stayed in that area and was not too happy with the beach. I prefer a much more private beach area without all the hawking that goes on. I stayed at the Club Med which was a much better experience with kids.
