Where to find bamboo (about the size ones used for scafolding)

I'm looking where to purchase bamboos, same size as the one used for scaffolding yet shorter about 2.5 m).

I would like clean brand new bamboos to use them to build a furniture.

Clean and brand new, the bamboo will still be green is that waht you want? How many of 2.5m sticks do you require?

I would prefer the more yellow color actually. How long will it take until the green fades if mounted outdoors? I understand it will rot eventually, I just don't want that to happen in less than several years.

I'd need probably 20 or so. I hear that B&Q in Megabox has some. That's where I'm heading tomorrow.
