I just saw on the EPD website that the water quality at the Hap Mun Bay beach is "good" just now. Does anyone know this beach? How does one get to it? Is there a ferry service? Is it worth the trek? Thanks

I think you can get a wallah wallah/sampan from Pak Sha Wan Pier or Sai Kung pier. Negotiate the price before boarding and confirm the pick-up time. I haven't been there for years but pass it everytime I go out fishing in my boat. Still looks clean with toilets, showers and a kisok. Being a gazzetted beach you probably can't smoke on it.
