Coconut milk and sago drink

Help me please all you filipinas!! I need to know how to make my own coco-sago drink!

I've found lots of recipes on the internet and tried what seems to be the standard way but I can't cook my sago pearls so they stay as separate balls. However I try doing it, I get a gelatinous blob rather than those lovely, little, sago 'caviar' balls!

HELP!!!!

do not boil the sago but have boiled water and off the fire. trow in the sago and stir every few mins till you can't see little white spot in the sago and after wash with running water till they are not sticky anymore... got it?

OK, so that advice was perfect, but I had to steep them in boiled water a 2nd time as the 1st time wasn't enough to make them translucent. The pearl balls were spot on but my next step is to play with the other ingredients so that the sweetness, creaminess, coconutiness are properly balanced.

THANKYOU AGAIN!
