Hi there
Could someone pls let me know where the trail starts to hike up to Victoria Peak? Does it start somewhere in Mid-Levels?

There are many routes and hence many places you can start. I suggest you invest in a small book called "Above the City: Hiking Hong Kong Island". Dymocks sell it. I find it a very useful guide for HK Island walks. I've only ever walked down(!) but have ended up by the lower tram station, Pokfulam Resevoir, Aberdeen cemetary and Aberdeen Reservoir road depending which trail I've taken.

Agreed about "Above the City". Great little book with good descriptions. However the maps inside it are somewhat basic so I would also get "The Hong Kong Guidebook" (a street map book). All the trails are marked on it and you also get rough contour lines.
