Hi - my daughter is going to be 4 in September and all she wants is a party on the beach, I'm wondering if anyone know any beach is good for kids (we're thinking of a barbeque party) or even suggest some other place like picnic on the peak etc. etc. If anyone got any ideas/suggestions/advices, please let me know. Thanks a million for your help.

There's a garden right at the very top of the Peak - the road to the right of the Peak Lookout going up (I think the second road) - go right to the top (in a taxi) and take a taxi number to call one going back down, if you're carrying stuff. It is very nice, grass, views, breeze...
Or beaches - any beach is good for kids, as long as you have enough spare adults to control them.

Nice beach down at South Bay Beach (Nam Wan Beach) off South Bay Road near Repulse Bay Road. They have some BBQ areas and also there's a bar/restaurant in the middle too. It's a great beach with not too many people. My nephew celebrated his b-day along with relatives and classmates there a few months ago.
Do go early or no parking spaces left on the street. It's a dead-end street and not much spaces to park. On the plus side, cops don't frequent that area as well so parking illegally for a few hours is fine too. At least it was for me! ;)
