Hi,

My Mum is visiting & I need to find out where to take her for plus size clothing (size 18-22 NZ)

That's a tough one, as most stores cater to "Asian" sizes. You could try Marks & Spencers, Lane Crawford or Seibu, but I'd imagine their clothing would not be very "unique" and your mum might be able to find similar things back home. Otherwise you could try Shanghai Tang for more "Asian" inspired clothing, but not sure if they have plus sizes. Stanley markets might be worth a visit too, as it caters to overseas tourists.

Last resort would be to buy fabric and have things tailor made. The 2nd floor of the Western Markets has quite a few shops selling fabric.

There is a shop on Wyndham Street, next door to Toni and Guy, on the 1st or second floor called something like Zaima's, or ?, can't remember the building but it has a black and white checkerboard marble floor in the entry; anyway they have lots of fab things in European sizes. (sorry not in Hk so can't check!) good luck!

Hi All, thanks for the advice. We went to the shop next to Toni & Guy & it was brilliant. Both for my Mum (size 20) & for me (size 10). Thanks again & when you're in the mood to 'hunt' around, do visit Esther here.
