I believe it searches all content within a thread

The search function is definitely not as quick or effective as it was in its previous incarnation.


Example is yesterday I took a long time trying to find the comprehensive info others had posted in reply to my thread a while back on where to buy white dinner plates. Impossible to find anything relevant using any combination of the words, so had to post my question again.

Ed, The search engine is really not at all as usseful as before. It does not take you to threads as it did previously, I have tried many different ways, but find it most unhelpful. Can you please reinstate the search engine as was???

Hi Ed, I agree with all other writers - the search function is not half as good as it used to be. Can you please reinstate the search function as it was? Thank you!
