Heh folks
Any one know what channels I can watch Guinness premiership rugby on? it's the only thing that will make me home sick out here if I can not follow my teams matches :( Oh yeah, and missing my family and stuff. I was thinking the british pubs would have it on, but the wife might not like me sitting in a pub in LKF or WC at 4 in the morning watching a game. Any help gladly received.

Mate sorry wish I could help, but I have no clue, I googled it, and this thread itself is the 3rd result. That does not bode well. You will have to check the individual sports channels or send an email to the Association and find out who has the SE Asian rights and in particular who the broadcaster is in Hong Kong.

http://rugbyzone.mediazone.com/Channels/Rugby.aspx - not what you're looking for but a start. SH obsessed, but they did show the Scotland vs Argentina matches (when no television broadcaster was willing to)

I have no idea. Blooming Eurosport only seems to show french rugby which is OK, but with no emotional involvement, I just don't care. God I miss sky sports.

Realise is a hardship posting eh? Satisfy yourself with southern hemisphere stuff....a bit airy fairy but if you can last the first 50 mins the last 30 provides more tries than some NH teams will score all season.
ABC (Australian Channel) plays plenty of Tri-Nations and S14. Tonight all the pubs in wan chai/HKFC will be playing the Bledisloe.

"A bit airy fairy"? Southern Hemisphere teams have been by far the strongest in the world for as long as most of us can remember.
If you win, how is that "airy fairy"? And, by the way, the idea of the game these days is to score tries.
That is, run with the ball, pass it, and fall on it over the try-line.

Here we go again....
I'm not English, but do think back to as recently as 10 months ago. When it came down to the crunch, SA had an easy route to the RWC final and NZ and Aus got knocked out before Scotland did, against two sides who really weren't that great. Forget forward passes and suspicious yellow cards - any team that is "by far the strongest in the world" should also win by such a margin too.
Is 8 tries in a game a sign of excellent attack or poor defense? The best way to determine is look at what happens when these sides (SH) meet up with NH sides - suddenly scoring a bonus point (4 tries) really is something special. Amen.

The aim of the game is to win. If you win by 100 outstanding solo effort tries or one lop eared drop goal in the last minute of extra time, does it matter?
How do you win? You do the basics well, play as a team, and refuse to be beaten. this is not something the AB's know about but the aussies do. Aussie should have won the tri and the bled because the ABs are just show boaters who bottle it when it counts.

Pseudolus - reading that was a great way to end my weekend. Just disappointed that there aren't any more Kiwi's on here to get wound up by that. I was in Cardiff when the French did a job on them: what a match!

I got South African feed and they are not showing it either, sorry can't help you.
Correction they are showing it. Tonight Bath vs Gloucester 1840 hrs on Super Sport 7 so if you know a bar or club that has SA DSTV on a multi-choice card then your are in. I know the Kowloon Cricket Club has DSTV. If you want to get set-up with a dish and card yourself it is not cheap but I can PM you my satellite guys details. But the card costs over $6k/year after costs of the dish and decoder
