Top left by far - great pleasing, relaxing colours. Also, you'll find that having the graphic on the left gives you lots of flexibility when placing and positioning your logo.

i like the top ones with the flower / petal-y graphics but it reminds me a bit of the cnbc logo (their rainbow peacock color) specially the one on the first row right. 2nd row right, and 3rd row left

the one in the last row = left side (d one with the green and flames ?) makes me think of food and cooking products.... i am unsure if that is what you are marketing

the one with the roof, makes me think of home products (think ikea, spotlight, b and q etc or even hardware stuff)

not too keen on the ones with the people picnicking.... if you reduce the logo (for use in branding small items), the graphics of people might not be clear

so i would go for the first one in column 1, row 1 and column 1 row 2 left. i specially like the font colors of row 2, left but there seems to be something missing in the graphics.... maybe it should be a dragonfly or a butterfly?

#1- Top right

#2- Top left

#3- Third one down on the left

The rest specially on the bottom half starting from the red gaudy one all have to go!

Thanks for all your feedback and I hope it keeps on coming. This forum is great to get intelligent feedback from top expats so I figured this is a great place to start.

This is the first draft that the graphic design team has produced so there is a lot of room for change.

Regards,

Beartrap

as a printer i would suggest avoiding logos with fading designs and more than 3 colours. Simple bold print always has more impact. You will also find complicated logos expensive and limiting when printing anything other than paper e.g. Staff uniforms, signs, giveaways etc

Top right is the best, but would need to make the text a solid colour for ease of branding products

Top logo in column #2.

If you are going to launch this business in HK/China/Asia suggest you do not use any of the logos that have only 4 petals on the "flower" (bad luck).

I prefer the top 2 logos - the colours are great. Beartrap did you go to a company to get these created. I hope to set up my own business soon too and I'm struggling with the logo. What process did you go through?

I like the last 2 - the one which looks like a coffee mug in middle and the one with a roof on top. But i feel as its a lifestyle product the roof will be preferable......The coffee mug looks more like Pacific Coffee house logo. And the leafy ones should suite a colour company or a botanist .....

The icon in last one in the left column is icon used here in Japan hotsprings on maps etc. Don't if that makes a difference or was intentional. I like all the blue/ green ones except the one with a roof unless its a home contruction business.

Alright,

Things have progressed into the second draft of the logo and would love to hear your opinions on the progress that has been made. People have chosen Top Left and Right in the office. What do you think?

also look at the huawei company logo. it also utilizes a similar flowery, petal-y type of graphics.

brand logos have to stand and speak out and not be compared or remind people of other similar looking brand logos

My faves are top right and then top left. But make the name in one colour, preferably a blue as it is more calming and would match very well with your brand values. Agree that the red and white one is hideous and looks like a toy company logo. I'm not too keen on the brown ones because the colours are muted and don't stand out as much.
