I've just moved to Hong Kong and need some new shoes.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might be able to find some men's size 12 shoes?

Many thanks.

My husband and son wear a 46 and can buy shoes at the Festival Walk Adidas shop . My husband also bought some work shoes at Festival Walk.

Agree with funbobby on Mong Kok, but be prepared to spend some time and go to several stores searching for your size. Festival Walk H & M also have larger business/dress shoes (haven't been to other H&Ms but should be the same?)

There's a store in TST, opposite the drive in entrance of the Holiday Inn hotel that tend to carry larger sizes of dress shoes. Also carry brands like Floorsheim, Rockport, Doc Marten etc.

Other alternative is to get dress shoes custom made, there are apparently quite a few shoes "tailors" in HK

U'll find some shoe shops in Ocean centre to the Gateway, T.S.T as well. Jusco in Whampoa would be a choice as well.

More specific?

M&S for work shoes as well as Lane Crawford.

For sports shoes, adidas/nike branded stores often carry larger sizes (some Marathon stores etc do too in "expat" areas).

Mong Kok highly unlikely to carry any size above 10.5 (UK) or 11.5 (US) - that's the cut off it seems. And I think 46 is smaller than UK 12, so just be careful if you need UK and not US.

So depends what you are looking for... M&S is easy/reasonably priced and nike/adidas do the trick.

I thought cobblers were 6-12 months wait and HK$4k+.

It's tough in HK to get big sized shoes (over 11/45) New Balance online does a decent job
