We are in the UK on holiday and have just purchased a settee and a poof in Derbyshire. Anyone can recommend a shipping company that can ship these 2 pieces of furniture to Hong Kong? The furniture can arrange delivery to any ports in the UK. Also, can I get the VAT back from those items?
I have been getting VAT return smoothly last few years but this time, I purchased a piece of dress from Coast and they didn't give me back the full VAT on the VAT form. I called them and asked, they said there is an admin charge now, Is that right? My dress is 135 pounds and the VAT return on the form is only 12.30 pounds. Anyone can advise?

I have got the quotations from those 3 companies. they charge me HK18,000 to ship 2 pieces of furniture over ( one is a settee and one is an pouf) !! Any other recommendations?

I finally found a good deal. A lot cheaper and services are much better than those ones in the UK. She contacted the furniture shop in the UK and got all the prcies break down! In the UK, I got few quotations but they are all in lum sum for like 500 pounds +. This company vinflair www.vinflair.com (kat who is dealing between UK and HK) contacted the UK for me. Got all the prices break down. Total cost of shipping 2 items are around HK4,000 which i think it's reasonable.
