Having gone through early puberty myself (9 yrs), I don't think it's either as rare or bad as some may think. Personally I'm glad my parents did NOT give me medications to stop it - as that would have signified to me that there was something wrong with my own body and bodily processes. They simply explained to me that this was a natural process which happened quicker to me than to others (kind of like some children talk earlier, get their wisdom teeth earlier, or whatever). They were discreet and asked my class teacher to help me be as well. And although I was the first to reach puberty in my class, there were a couple of other girls who got them around 10 and so I didn't have long to wait for some company -- after that, I remember the focus gradually shifting to girls who got them late i.e. they were waiting to get their periods!
The only time it was a bit awkward is if I happen to have a period when a swimming/beach trip was planned but I started using mini-tampons around 11/12 so it wasn't many times that this happened. I guess if you're daughter was a very regular swimmer, there might be some benefit in delaying for a couple of years but otherwise I think not. I was pretty sporty - netball, hockey, gymnastics, riding, tennis, etc - and it didn't interfere with any of these in the least.
Also, do some research on the long-term effects of any hormones/medications that have been suggested - a lot of these (e.g HRT) have been associated with higher risks of cancer. We have so many extra hormones and stuff in our bodies these days (which might be why some reach early puberty in the first place), I don't know that we should be adding even more.

Hi!
I do'nt have such an experience, but as suggestion anything that goes natural is the best and acceptable. I mean it's just a matter of two to 3 years in advance.!
I feel we should not play with these natural system. Just accept it.!
