Hello
Is there anything in Hong Kong that is equal to a "Garden Centre"? I want to do some container gardening on my balcony. My first desire is to grow some climbing roses. After that, I would like to try all sorts of flowers.
(I noticed one of my neighbors had climbing roses on her balcony but she suddenly moved away over the summer before I could ask her about them. There must be a place in Hong Kong to purchase them.)
Where can I find perennials and roses to grow at home, in Hong Kong? I also need to buy potting soils and everything else one needs for gardening.
I'm from Canada and we are spoiled by garden centres.

Prince Edward flower market

Prince Edward flower market is indeed the mother lode. If you are on the island there are a few nurseries, including one in Pok Ful Am and one opposite Ocean Park close to the southern tunnel entrance. But they don't compare to the market and don't have all the supplies.
For gardening tools, hoses and so forth, you can go to a department store like Wing On. It is going towards fall now, however, and I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the Wing On garden section has been dramatically cut down for that reason.

Thanks for the help! I didn't know the Prince Edward Flower market sold perennials. I thought it was only a "cut flower" market.
Where can I get seeds for things like bok choy and other Chinese veggies. I think I want to try my hand at those too!
