Me and my 2 daughters have extremely curly hair, looking for a good western hairdresser that can cut curly hair.

Hi Lauren, i always have a little theory about people with curly hair. Got to a hairdressers who also has curly hair as they would better understand the hair type having to live with it every day. Now thats not to say stylists with straight hair cant cut curly hair of course, its just a theory.
That said Rennae from The Hairdressers (yes thats where i work) is excelent with curly hair even to the point of showing you how to style it in different ways and with different products (and yes she does have curls herself).
You could also try Trang and Maggie at TH2 in Soho who are also good with curls and great with kids.
Dont forget you should always go in for a free consultation first just to make sure you feel comfortable with your stylist and dont be afraid to ask alot of questions or second opinions.

A friend of mine has really curly hair and she goes to the salon called "Tommy" in Lyndhurst Terrace, just off Wellington Street. She's been going there for about 2 years and is very hapy.

Sorry to tag old post. If Lauren still there, how did it go? Who did you use in the end? And Douglas, do you have any recommendations? I'm a brit with long thick curly hair (part naturaly, part encouraged by a perm once a year, our secret!), and just moved to Hong Kong from Singapore. I'm used to the humidity, but still need a good cut to keep it tame!
Appreciate anyone's new experiences with hairdressers in Hong Kong for curly hair. :-)
