has anyone recorded programmes frm cable tv recently? it kept saying this programme is copy protected when i tried to record frm our dvd recorder.

No problems recording from NOW cable to DVD recorder. You have to connect the A/V output from the Now box to an A/V input on the DVD recorder and record manually only (can't set up the timer for this). The video quality sucks though as if you're watching VCD movies, specially when you watch on a large screen LCDTV.

What setup do you have? I'm sure you've connected everything properly as you say you're getting a "copy protected" message.
