We've dropped in some new content including a couple of columns, currency convertor and a city map...

Looks nice - though I am not a big user of currency conversion, city maps etc so maybe I am not the intended target audience.

Re: Currency... quite a few people who completed our survey asked for us to bring that back + we have a sponsor coming on for that shortly...
What's On - problem is even if we have comprehensive events this doesnt generate any interest - we purchased this site in 2005 http://www.thatsshanghai.com/ and it had comprehensive event listings - we looked at the logs and found nobody was visiting this section (less than 5% of their traffic went there) - huge amount of work to keep something like this updated so we have decided not to try to do this (I think this is one thing people still like to check out in print) - instead prefer to focus on major events using our home page (e.g. Cirque de Soleil)
