- Hong Kong Park.
- IFC Mall terrace in the evening. A definite favorite for me.
- Repulse Bay Beach.
- The park close to the Peak. I forget the name.

Kowloon PEAK is a one way road from Clearwater Bay Road then turn up tp Fei Ngor Shan Road and keep going until you get to the breathtaking view at the top. A two minute walk will bring you to a shelter.

Cara, I know it was said tongue in cheek, but I've met quite a few HK islanders who only leave the Island to go to the airport.....one of them lived there for 4 years and never ventured Kowloon side.

The aforementioned site at Mt Austin is the spot where the Governers summer mountain lodge in the 1900's used to be. In the 1960's I used to play up there as a child on the original foundations which had huge expanses of Victorian tiling and fireplaces. I believe they "rediscovered" this last year after digging up the concrete they had poured over the whole site years ago. It will be interesting to see what the Govt. will do with it now. The grassed area is the site of the old rose garden which had a mountain stream running down the side. Nevertheless, it is still a stunning place with incredible views and always very quiet when I go up there. It's a bit difficult to get to but it well worth the effort.
