we are looking into staying at the Anantara in dec this year when we visit koh samui for our holidays. has anyone stayed there? any feedback abt the hotel would be great!

I have stayed at their hotel in Bali a few times - its excellent - sorry no idea on the samui property though

It is located in the north of Koh Samui so little night life if that is what you are up to. A short walk from Anantara is the Fisherman's Wharf area which has a few laid back bars and restaurants and a couple of shops. If you are looking for some p and q it is great and as usbound said also good if you have kids in tow (nice pool, kids club etc)

Stayed in the KS Anantara and thought it was a nice small resort with limited but adequate amenities. Not too many kids (at the time) but some nice restaurants in Fisherman's Wharf as per Topol. Great for a short break.

It's very boutique, so beautiful, especially at night. Amazing entrance. Real quality.
