Brender or woll frying pan ?
are the pretty much the same?
" woll" is almost 2-3 times the price

what is metal utensils ?
I saw they (woll )are doin promotion in City super last weekend . they claim is cheapest to buy in in Hong KOng . and told me that price will go up next week .
so what is the different between Berndes and Calphalon ?
I m thinking Woll would be too heavy for me plus I m not a professional cook . thinking i shouldn't spend $HKD 2000 on a frying pan .
the reason why I m interested in Woll and Berndes is they remain the heat for a long while after u turn off the fire .

well, if you turn off the fire and they still retain heat - you have to be careful not to over cook things - it will continue cooking - so I guess it is good for things like stews but not good for streaks, fish etc..
Metal utensils is utensils you use for cooking made out of metal (i.e. they can scratch surface of the pan) as opposed to wood, plastic, etc...

Contact the Woll online shop by email. Ask them whether they ship to HKG and whether they deduct VAT right away. The VAT should easily cover your shipping costs. Plus - if you don't like it you can return the goods within 14 days from receipt for no reason whatsoever. Only have to pay shipping costs back to Woll...
