if you boil a pot of soup (chinese style) what's the rule on storing it overnight? can you leave it on the stove overnight and then only refridgerate the next day? or must you put it in the fridge before you go to sleep?

Let it cool before putting it in the fridge. You can seperate the liquid from the bits and store them seperately and join them back together the next day to reboil

you can actually re-boil the soup before you go to bed but make sure the lid is on... do NOT open the lid, then it will keep until the next day.
