Hello,
I have two things I'm looking for and know I can find in Hong Kong, but am hoping to avoid spending hours doing so by asking here first.
1. Does anyone know where to find 'Shoe Goo' (no not the stuff you step in)? It's a kind of super-adhesive 'goo'/glue that you can put on the sole of your shoes if the sole is falling off. In Canada and the US it is actually called 'Shoe Goo', but I don't know what it's called here. I have some old dog-walking shoes that I just don't want to get rid of.
2. I'd like to buy a pair of good quality silver or pewter goblets to give as a wedding gift. Does anyone know where I could find a selection of these?
Thanks for any help.

No idea. However you can get them repaired for less than 50 Honkies. This seems like a simpler course of action to me.

Maybe I'll end up doing that, but I live out in Sai Kung so it's a pain to go into town just for an old pair of shoes.

Its more than likely you would have to go further to get the glue.

But then I can use it on more than one pair of shoes.
Anyway, does anyone know where to find silver or pewter goblets?

Park N' Shop and Wellcome both have racks selling different types of glues and I believe one of them works on shoes.
For Pewter, tryp either Royal Selango and/or Town House. They both have shops in Festival Walk which is possibly the closest to you. Royal Selangor tel. 2994-9688; Town House tel. 2375-0002. Wai Kee Jewellery, shop 104-105 Prince's Bldg. has silver goblets. Tel. 2521-0471.
