I reported my classic visa card stolen as soon as I noticed. On checking my statement $58k has been spent in various upmarket designer shops in HK. Somewhere i have never shopped.
I have faxed the copy to the investigations branch yesterday, and will here more from them in a couple of days.
Is there any chance of getting my money back? Are there any angles?

Our credit card was stolen a couple of years or so ago, we reported it stolen the same day, but it was used several times over the next 2 days for cash withdrawals, lucikly only $3k. We contacted HSBC who said an error had been made and it hadn't been cancelled when we first called, we got our money back but it ook a while.
