My dryer broke down at least once a year and the door broke a couple of times. The motor gave out after five years. The washer lasted five years and one month. We are a heavy usage family though. I chose another brand for my next set.

As I see it Whirlpool is a decent brand but not something I would particularly associate with better than average quality.


Miele are brilliant, but you will pay a lot for the privilege. We also loved our LG.
