HK island preferably.

Is there a substitute you can use if you cant find corn syrup... corn flour??

Corn syrup, being an American thing, can (as Cara mentioned) be found at Gateway in Sheung Wan. Corner of Wing Lok Street and Des Voeux Road Central.

Try the bigger, more westernised Wellcome stores, on the shelf for baking stuff.

Substitutes can be cheap (ie bland) golden syrup or bland honey -it's sweeter than corn syrup though. You can substitute them measure for measure.

I'm sure I've seen it here though, in Olivers and Great?
