Hi

Has anyone written a reference letter to the local primary school, that they are applying to? If so does anyone have a sample that they can email me. Its like a resume but for a child applying for primary 1.

which school are you applying to? I am in the same situation as you. Finally did the ref letters, applicant letters, and finished the portfolio after 3 months of preparation. It's battle time now until December! You can PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks for your reply. I'm applying for HKUGA Primary School in Chai Wan and probably St Stephens' in Stanley. I've done most of the portfolio but just having to write a letter from myself. This is such a hassle but all the moms say you should do it even though the school your applying for may only glance at it!. Kate do you mind emailing me your ref and applicant letters so I can get an idea? If ok my email address is tran.shirley@gmail.com

I am so unfamiliar with the schooling system and everything thats involved as I was not born here and never studied here. So its been a nightmare. For HKUGA the deadline is this Saturday so I've got to post it to them by Wed or Thu the lastest.
