Went diving there earlier this year. Stayed at a small resort run by some Germans. The diving was ok. But there is nothing else to do there if you do not dive.

it is amazing, we stayed in Amorita resort ( had our own ocean view villa with private jacuzzi cum pool at USD 100 per night) on Alona beach. My son loved it, there are lots of things to see nearby ( Lobo River Cruise, Tarsier Monkey, Chocolate hills, Balicasag Diving/Snorkeling, Dolphin Watching, Bohol Bee farms - highly recommended)
One of our best holidays of 2007 !
