Hi there
Had a baby and haven't been to the cinema for over FOUR years. I noticed there is now something called a UA Directors Club and the tickets online are $175.
What is the difference between a regular cinema and the UA Directors Club please?
Thank you!

Plus you get a waiter to bring you the snacks and drinks. Seats rotate as well.

It is great optimum for long movies though imho, if your running time is not that long, I go to the normal cinema, but I went to see the lotr films there partly cause my mate was a Tolkien nut, but we also went to see the directors cut for apocalypse now which is really long to begin with anyway leave alone Coppola's uncut version and the premium charged was well worth the money.

Been there a couple times in the last year... nice every once in a while, but the place seems a bit tired... needs some freshening up...

Very tired. Check out the Nokia Screens at the Paragon Cinema, Bangkok or other 'luxury' cinemas in Thailand. They set the standard for high-end cinema experience (AV and seating). HK, including the new posh screen at Elements, falls a long way short. Still, HK's not too bad and I think the regular seats at IFC are very good, even for long films.
