Can anyone recommend a heavy-duty Scotchgard or similar product available in HK that I can apply to a new cream coloured sun-shade to prevent mould stains?
Going to have to bin my otherwise perfectly good current shade as it has unsightly green lines of mould down it where it had been folded away in wet weather, and washing, bleaching and dry cleaning etc hasn't removed them (though they did come out the first time I washed it in a weak bleach solution and also the first time it was dry cleaned).
Instead of having to take the new shade down every time rain is threatened I'd like to proof it, if possible, so it stays looking good. Would appreciate any suggestions.
