We are allowed to post names and numbers of people (doctors, dentists, other professionals) who we recommend, but not to give a one-sided criticism of someone whose work we were unsatisfied with - that's my understanding of the rules here ...
I have used Dr James Woo in Lane Crawford House, Queen's Road Central for 8 years and highly recommend him. He also does my kids' teeth and my husband's. He speaks fluent English and Cantonese, as do his staff. Call Winnie the receptionist on 2869 6986 to make an appointment.

My dentist is Stephen Borrows - English. He taught at HKU. He is very gentle and is not wildly expensive as some of them are...! He is on the 14th Floor of Central Building on the corner of Queen's Road Central and Pedder Street. Telephone 2524 9898.
The reason that I thought "Ed" was anti "advertising" is that I saw someone asking about a cheap local mover. "Ed" said call "Ah Something: as he is the only local mover who advertises here...! I have a great local mover who speaks not a word of English but has a lady who translates. He would not know about this site let alone know how the advertise on it....!

Dr. Robert Hui is a great family dentist. The best I've ever seen, especially if you are not comfortabe with a dentist. Tell him and he will take extra care. He will suggest you vist the office first just to feel comfortable if that would help. Goodl uck.
