I am interested to know when a NET teacher gets a permanent Residency in Hong Kong; then does it has any effect on the NET status??

I am a NET teacher who is in my 9th year of teaching in HK. I have PR here & you can become a permanent resident without losing any of your benefits as long as you can prove that all your social & family ties are outside HK.
