you will still come back. But on the other hand, this US consul staffs are

unpredictable and unreasonable at times or most of the time. 1999, 1st day I

applied for renewal of my visa, they rejected me as I forgot to bring my old

passport showing that I had a US visa before,came back the following day and

the US Consul staff did not even bother to look at my old passport and gave me

10 year visa. What's funny was, that consul staff even asked if I want an immigrant visa. I think the reason why she gave me a 10 year visa was my answer to her question about immigrant visa - I told her that I do not have any interest in living in the US as it is more comfortable for me to live in Asia. This is not the end of my story.2001 daughter and 2nd son were issued a visa that

lasted 6 years, 2006 we plan to visit my inlaws, visa runs out at that time, son application for visa denied, according to that beautiful Consul staff- he is high risk of staying in the US BUT SHE GAVE MY YOUNGEST daughter (aged 14) a multiple visa. See how inconsistent they are??? These people working at the consul thinks that if you are coming from a third world country (though we are hk residents) you will love to stay in the US. They forgot to think that life can be good and better outside their territory!!! Anyway, good luck to you. Hopefully, you will be interviewed with someone who is objective..

they asked all sorts of queztions like what do you do here, what is the purpose of your visit, how long will you stay, where will you go? They will seem like just doing chit chat but on the other hand they are already weighing you and your intentions, and am quite sure some of them are not really capable to know who is lying or not. Make sure you have all the requirements they need, I heard it is expensive now compared 10 years ago (visa likewise) Good luck !!!
