Since the search on the forum is a complete nightmare these days I can not find any previous threads with details of recommended family photographers.
I would like some prof photos of my kids and we used Moments (and really not happy with it) and Ventures is sooo expensive. Any other recommendations please?

i was tryinng to search the same thing but you see to no longer be able to search on each forum. I could only search the whole site whivh is not useful shame as lots of useful info on previus posts

Ed, have tried everything - for example "family photographers" comes up with tons of thread with word "family" in it and nothing about photographers! search with "professional photographers" comes up with some rubbish. Search for "kids photos" comes up with "kids" and "photos" but not in the same post - so i guess the problem is that the search engine does not look for two words together? And if i just search for "photographers" it takes me to the A-Z directory....

all i wanna to say guys is DO NOT USE VENTURE. we used them and spent a fortune but we dont even given a set of copy nor the negatives! It's so unfair.

I know, we also spent a huge sum on Venture! The pics look really great though. But they have all this info about copyright ownership being theirs. It just forces people to have to order more photos from them and they in turn make tons of money!

wow! i thought i was the only one who thought Venture was expensive! we weren't told (and foolishly didn't ask) about rates when we signed up for a 'special promo'...and yes the shoot was fun, photogs were great, and the images were stunning, but we both did a collective gasp when the time came to order...so we took the 'free' gift 5x7 and ran lol
